About The Foundation

Giving back to the community is something that many people want to do but often struggle to find a way to do effectively.

In 2012 the Board decided AITEC should endeavor to provide a means to enable its members and industry vendors an effective way to give back to the community. Many ideas were kicked around, but ultimately it was decided that AITEC should host a charity golf event.

The Board reached out to its members and industry vendors with a goal of raising $50,000. When all was said and done more than $150,000 was raised that first year! The tremendous success of the event led to the formation of the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation AITEC Gives Back Foundation, which has since raised over $4.1 million through the annual golf event.
